Paolo Minoli was an Italian contemporary painter and printmaker. His use of color as a language and plastic form, create the color spectrum as an alphabet for a discourse that starts a laborious experimentation. Those experiments and researches are based on continuous dual dialectics, between time and space, environment and surface, whole and external, painting and sculpture. Minoli was interested in the concept of color as a derivative of the light spectrometer, as well as an indicator of human emotions. In those compositions Minoli also used alphabet letters for their names, and he used parallel color lines to form the interesting structures, either directed vertically or horizontally.
