Valerio Adami is an Italian artist knows for his Nouvelle Figuration movement. Adami began to incorporate various subjects into his artworks such as modern European history, literature, philosophy, and mythology. The whole image looks like a dream which is seen in the lines and colors. You can see a hunter with a gun at rest in his arms in the sand dunes, in which a woman sleeps, who is perhaps a goddess of hunters. The lunar phases symbolize the passage of time of the hunter’s trip.
