Mersad Berber is a Bosnian painter, but today he is well known as a graphic artists. Beside his occupation with graphics, paintings and illustrations he was also working on theatrical scenography and costumography. His whole artwork was based on his interest in tradition and culture of his country. This is a picture with many details and ornaments. A woman’s profile is probably a portrait of some lady because of her brightly colored skin and next to her is a naive portrait of a king full of three leafed clover shapes. The most common motive here is a clover and generally a floral motive, which is typical for the royal art.
