Valerio Adami is an Italian artist knows for his Nouvelle Figuration movement. Adami began to incorporate various subjects into his artworks such as modern European history, literature, philosophy, and mythology. In this work Adami portrays a hot summer day or maybe evening where a person has taken off all her clothes in order to seek some solace in the cool of the water.
