Živko Marušić is a Slovenian artist, born in Italy. He is best-known for his figurative paintings, graphics and sculptures. His artworks are products of thoroughly exploring and recreating events from his life and his perception of those events. Human figure is always in the center of his attention and most of his creations feature just one person with his current look in a moment of Marušić’s attention and with his emotions caught on the face at that moment. His figures mostly seem dynamic or in motion. In every culture the Sun means life and in some religions is related to God. There is a girl illuminated by the Sun. She raised her hands, like she worships the Sun and there are outlines of her body in the beam of light.
