Untitled. Original color etching, unknown year. Edition of P.A. (Proba Artist) E.A. signed and numbered impressions on Arches paper.
Sandro Bracchitta is an Italian printmaker, well known for his abstract composition. His ability to combine inks, steel, gold leaf, oxidized iron, carborundum and lava stone is timeless. Bracchita’s art is incarnation of conflicts, fears, but also the hope of human existence in the form of a surrealist effect. The art came less from ideas than from his perception and his intuition, he said. He thinks in forms and invents metaphors for things that touch his daily life. This graphic is a materialization of an intimate story, in whose space everyone can find himself. The colors are exalted from the surface, the lines are combined to one another and the shapes are composed, to build a dimension of sophisticated elementality and materialize the agreements of a visual harmony, which develops beyond the threshold of the present time.
