Valerio Adami is an Italian artist knows for his Nouvelle Figuration movement. Adami began to incorporate various subjects into his artworks such as modern European history, literature, philosophy, and mythology. You can see a quiet sea and a boat drifting towards the bridge between cliffs. Everything here is quiet and peaceful except one thing, a man who has suddenly seen something we can’t see and that is what makes this composition mystic. The colors are also calm and peaceful except the man’s pants and the new moon, which makes the composition dynamic.
