Albert Merz is a Swiss contemporary abstract artist, who lives in Berlin now. He is known for his murals, graphics, sculptures and installations. Following the spirit of the times, Merz turned to the so-called wild painting in the 80s, because of his amorphous, expressive images. The artworks are combination of abstract and figurative images, inspired by archaism. This blue composition is a combination of images that are bound to everyday life, but captivate through his personal alphabet of signs and projection surfaces in a variety of forms.
