Živko Marušić is a Slovenian artist, born in Italy. He is best-known for his figurative paintings, graphics and sculptures. His artworks are products of thoroughly exploring and recreating events from his life and his perception of those events. Human figure is always in the center of his attention and most of his creations feature just one person with his current look in a moment of Marušić’s attention and with his emotions caught on the face at that moment. His figures mostly seem dynamic or in motion. We all know the story about Snow White and the queen who looks in the magic mirror every day to ask it who is the prettiest of them all. Can our reflection tell something about us?
